Platoon Exhibition Extended for a week
this is what the main guy at platoon had to say about my speech which i neglected to get on camera as i was holding it when i was impromtuly brought up to talk about the shelter, and homeless youth services in NYC. I got some amazing footage of phillip jones griffiths speaking on an interview before he passed away this march.

1 year Memorial of Dad
I hope dad would be honored by my way of celebrating his life during this past year. This is my tattoo done by a german in Berlin, while on holiday exhibiting my prints at Platoon and signing my book, 1 year after my dad passed away. take a moment and look at the credit page in the book where i, as the artist, gave the largest amount of money raised to make the book happen in honor of his memory. These funds continue to give new life to the homeless youth service community that is so dear to me. May he rest in peace knowing we are moving forward with our lives in healthy ways, giving more of ourselves due to his presence within us. May my kids also rest in peace each night of their lives, and lead lives that are filled beyond their wildest dreams.

Let me just begin by saying i am not a graffiti artist... i just stumbled into a graffiti store (overkill Berlin) and was thrilled by the thought of tagging without getting caught. So here is my attempts from after dark in the neighborhood where i am staying... they helped me keep from getting lost on my way home today. notice i confused and mixed up 2 sayings "vielen dank" which means many thanks... and "viel gluck" which means good luck... "vielen gluck" says to the viewer that is an american in germany tagging incorrect grammer. also i kept mixing up my greens and not noticing because it was pitch black out and couldn't tell the color until morgan. I bought 3 cans and used all of them... did 12 tags but could only find 9 this morning.... hope you enjoy it even a quarter as much as i did last night ; )
